Chopsticks made in Japan
This chosticks name Kiza comes from the verb Kizamu which means to chop, to engrave.
Taking one glance at the the chopticks, we can clearly understand the link between the name and the design. Those perfectly chiseled out shapes make the chopsticks very comfortable to use.
You may also have noticed that they look like wands so let's do some magic !
Japanese urushi lacquer is made from the sap of the urushi tree, a tradition dating back to the Jomon period (6000BC).
Laquered objects (Shikki) are sensitive to a direct exposure to sunlight. These products cannot be used in microwaves and cannot be washed in dishwasher. Urushi products should be quickly dried after washing.
