Noren Sukeroku Bangasa

This noren represents Sukeroku, one of the most popular characters in Kabuki. Kabuki is the epic form of traditional Japanese theatre. Sukeroku is easily recognizable by its purple headband and a traditional Japanese umbrella, the higasa. He is a member of the feudal times warrior class.
